Folding At Home is a distributed computing project. The software uses idle computing resources to fold proteins for use in research and medical application. The goal of this endeavor is to find new therapies and cures for a variety of diseases, including various cancers, alzheimers disease, and more.

The individual contributions in this project are tracked by the F@H team, and points are awarded to pseudonymous donors based on the amount of computing provided. I'm currently in the top 10K donors, out of roughly 3 million individuals. The cozmic.info team cumulatively ranks in the top 2K teams.
